Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church
Anchor Theological Seminary truly has been a blessing to me in achieving my educational goals and enhancing my commitment to the knowledge of the Word of God. I earned my Bachelor and Master's from ATS and currently perusing the Doctorate. I previously held the position of "Professor of Biblical Studies" for another seminary for two years. Some of my students are now enrolling in ATS because they were blessed through me and me through ATS.I thank God for Dr. Tisdale and Anchor Theological Seminary for the encouragement and support in higher biblical learning. The Seminary's accreditation and affordability was crucially important to me and my former students in choosing the right Seminary. We believe we have found all that is needed through ATS. It is my prayer for Anchor Theological Seminary, the Board, Officers and staff that God will continue to bless this biblically sound Seminary for many years to come.
Dr. Dan Meacham
Christian Church of Santa Clara, California
My Christian experience began with the acceptance of Christ the last Sunday of 1971 and immersed on the first Sunday of 1972.
I received my Bachelors degree from Anchor in 2001, Ordained into Gospel Ministry 2004. In 2007, I received my Masters Degree in Biblical Studies and my Doctorate Degree in Pastoral Theology from Anchor in 2009. At the Christian Church of Santa Clara I am teaching two discipleship classes, I am active in the elder-ship and in the Finance Ministry. Occasionally I do some preaching. I also write a monthly devotional column in the church newsletter. Prior to my association with Anchor, I had some good Bible Education from several other institutions, but I was looking for something deeper, closer to the heart of the Gospel. My main focus was church doctrine and it's application today in the church and the home. The well -rounded instruction I received at Anchor was at a higher level than I previously experienced. Perhaps the greatest benefit has come from the structured studies which Anchor features. As an outgrowth of those studies I have developed a strong interest in manuscript transmission and veracity, as well as documenting doctrinal shortcomings of most of the modern translations
